KONSEP PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM PERSEPEKTIF IBNU KHALDUN
Abstract
Education is a process to change the attitudes and behavior of a person or group with the aim of maturing a person through teaching and training efforts.While perspective can be interpreted as a person's perspective on something.This study aims to determine: (1) What is the life history of Ibn Khaldun?(2) What is the concept of Islamic education according to Ibn Khaldun? (3) What is the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's thoughts on Islamic education in Indonesia?To answer the questions above, the researcher used a literature approach.The method used in this research is to use the literature review method. The object of research is the World History Figure, namely Ibn Khaldun. The results of this study can be concluded: (1) Ibn Khaldun was born to a respectable family from his father, was born in Tunisia and gained his first knowledge with his father when he was a teenager he studied outside to increase knowledge. (2) The concept of Islamic education according to Ibn Khaldun has a goal to shape a person's personality which includes aspects of religion, morals, social, and thought. (3) The relevance of Ibn Khaldun's thoughts on Islamic education in Indonesia in terms of human nature. Ibn Khaldun's view seems to have relevance to the view of Islamic education that is developing in Indonesia. Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the Islamic Education System in Indonesia is a sub-system of the National Education System. Thus, the view of the National Education System Law on humans by itself does not contradict the view of Islamic education.
