Abstract

Teacher personality competence is one of the things that must be owned by a teacher as stated in the Republic of Indonesia Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers. The educational tools used will increase the interest of students in following each lesson and make learning in class fun. This study aims to determine the extent to which the Evaluation of the Cognitive Development Program in early childhood at Al-Farabi Integrated Islamic Kindergarten has developed in the learning process.  This study uses a semi-qualitative approach. Data collection methods used in this study include: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation. The data that has been collected from the three methods are then re-analyzed to obtain findings from the study. The findings from this study indicate that the cognitive abilities or thinking power of children at the Al-Farabi TKIT school are not all maximized, there are still some children whose cognitive abilities are still weak due to the lack of educational tools in schools that can help smooth the teaching and learning process.
