Abstract

 The role of PAI teachers is a series of activities carried out to help develop their abilities in managing the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved.This study aims to provide an explanation of PAI teachers in overcoming learning difficulties for class VII-B students at Galih Agung private junior high school for the 2020-2021 academic year with the focus of this research which includes (1) How is the role of PAI teachers in educating class VII-B students at Galih Private Middle School Agung for the 2020-2021 school year?, (2) What are the difficulties faced by class VII-B students in learning Islamic Religious Education at Galih Agung Private Junior High School for the 2020-2021 academic year?, (3) What is the role of PAI teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of class students? VII-B Galih Agung Private Junior High School for the 2020-2021 academic year in learning?. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of multi-situ study research. Data collection methods used in this study include: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, and (3) Documentation. The data collected from the three methods were then analyzed to obtain research. The findings of this study indicate that, (1) the role of PAI teachers in Galih Agung Private Junior High School is to be responsible and tasked with educating, developing religious knowledge, and instilling faith in their students. (2) Some students find it difficult to remember lessons, have difficulty concentrating and have difficulty mastering lessons (3) The role of PAI teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties is by motivating students and using fun methods.
