The purpose of this study was to evaluate the hijaiyah letter recognition program using the iqro’method using the CIPP model at RA Saidi Turi, Pancur Batu District with the formulation of the problem 1) How to evaluate the context 2) How to evaluate the input 3) How to evaluate the process and 4) How to evaluate the product of the program recognition of hijaiyah letters with the Iqro' method. This approach uses a qualitative approach to data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that evaluating the context of this program is that learning activities have clear goals and planning. Evaluation of inputs to this program is supported by the readiness of educators and with planning and media methods that must be smooth for children to learn. Evaluation of the process in implementing this program uses several learning methods used by teachers in implementing this program. Product evaluation of the success of this program is having children know, know, pronounce and understand hijaiyah letters, which in the end are able to read the Qur'an properly and correctly.
