This study aims to determine how the development of linguistic intelligence in early childhood using flashcard media at the Ar-Rahmah Islamic Education Foundation, Medan Johor District, with the formulation of the problem (1) How to apply flashcard media in improving children's linguistic intelligence at the Ar-Rahmah Islamic Education Foundation. Medan Johor District? (2) How is the development of children's linguistic intelligence at the Ar-Rahmah Islamic Education Foundation, Medan Johor District? (3) What are the obstacles experienced during the teaching and learning process? This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques involving school principals, classroom teachers, and parents. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the initial observations that the researchers made in class B1 there were 17 children, of which 5 children experienced vocabulary barriers in their linguistic intelligence. Because there are several problems that have not been mastered by children, namely expressing opinions to others by making simple sentences, asking and answering questions according to learning topics, and telling stories about everyday experiences about what children see and hear.
