Abstract

Research conducted by researchers at Al-Habibah Islamic Elementary School, that  the  success  of  education  is  identicalto  the  succes  of  the  principal,  every educational  institution  needs  teachers  /  teaching  staff  who  are  qualified  in  their respective  fields, quality  teachers  /  staff  will  produce  quality  education, quality education will produce quality education. Data collection throught: interviews, obsevation  and  documentation.  The  data  analysis  technique  uses  three  channels, namely: data presentation, data reduction and conclusion drawing. The principal is tasked with guiding teachers, education personnal, giving good role models, creating a good working climate, a conducive environment that will increase  the  enthusiasm  of teachers  in  educating.  The  quality  of  teachers  who teach  in  Islamic  elementary schools Al-Habibah is quate qualified because the teachers have met the requirements to become competent teachers as stated in the UUD. Principals play an important role in advanciving teacher resources by providing adequate educational facilities. Various ways taken by the principal in improving the quality of teacher resources, such as holding seminars, training, workshops, comparative studies and so on.
