PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI (TIK) DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMA SWASTA YAPIM SEI GELUGUR

Abstract

This study aims to answer the formulation of the problem that has been formulated by

researchers, namely to describe and analyze the use of ICT in the learning process of Islamic religious education in YAPIM Sei Gelugur Private High School.

This research is a qualitative study that examines the use of ICT in the learning process of Islamic religious education at the YAPIM Sei Gelugur Private High School objectively using case studies through interviews with related parties and documentation.

The results of this study indicate that the use of computers in the learning process of PAI in  YAPIM Sei  Gelugur Private  High  School,  namely  the  teacher uses  video  to  support the achievement of material in learning and also uses PPT in delivering the material. The use of the internet in the learning process of PAI at YAPIM Private High School Sei Gelugur is going well, the teacher uses it for browsing tasks and also the use of e-mail. The advantages of using computers and the internet at PAI at YAPIM Sei Gelugur Private High School include: classroom learning is more conducive compared to classical learning, the classroom atmosphere will be active, teachers will feel more helped by the use of computers and the internet, when assigning tasks with the internet can streamline KBM time, While the weaknesses found when the use of computers and the internet at PAI at YAPIM Sei Gelugur Private High School include: it requires a little time.
