HERMENEUTIKA DAN KHAZANAH KEILMUAN ISLAM

Abstract

Hermeneutics as a method of reading texts has been widely known in various fields of           traditional   Islamic  scholarship,   especially   in  the  tradition   of  Jurisprudence   and interpretation  of the Qur'an. Meanwhile,  modern hermeneutics  in understanding  Islam can basically be called a big leap in the formulation of understanding Islam in general and the method  of  interpreting  the  Qur'an  specifically.  Therefore,  the  study  of  hermeneutics  in Islamic studies also needs to be studied. This research uses the literature study method, and this research supports understanding  hermeneutics  and can add to the scientific treasures and can provide new knowledge on how to understand the text and interpretation of the text to be asked

Hermeneutics which means "translated" is used by clergy by presenting meanings in

classical  texts and then developing  in other fields such as literature,  law and philosophy. This research and study has been going on for a long time used by western countries (secularists).  Hermeneutics  participated  in Islamic  studies  as a new  alternative,  such  as refuting in the science of interpretation that could help the meaning of a verse of the Qur'an that is difficult to understand.
