KONSEP MILK AL-YAMIN DALAM ALQURAN

Abstract

This study aims to correct misunderstandings  in understanding  the teachings of Islam about slavery. That Islam still recognizes slavery as a protected institution. Even slavery is still part of religious law.

This research uses the maudhu'i interpretation method approach. In this discussion, will beconveyed  about  the verses  contained  the word  milk al-yamin,  the meaning  of milk al- yamin in language, the meaning of milk al-yamin in the terminology of the Qur'an and the law relating to milk al-yamin.

Based on research conducted using the above method, it was found that themisunderstanding  occurred  due to incorrect  understanding  of the verses of the Qur'an entitled slavery, especially termmilk al-yamin. After revealing how the concept of milk al- yamin in the Qur'an, it can be concluded that Islam does not legalize slavery.
