PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH TERHADAP KONSENTRASIBELAJAR SISWA SMP SWASTA PEMBINA KECAMATAN KUTALIMBARU

Abstract

Concentration is the focus of the mind on an object by not discussing other things or putting other things aside. When studying in class, focus on one lesson by not discussing anything other than the lesson the students are studying. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing "The Influence of the School Environment on the Concentration of Learning of Students at the Private Junior High School Pembina Kutalimbaru District". This research is a correlational study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VII, VIII and IX of Pembina Private Junior High School which opened 92 people. Thus, the sample in this study is the total of the population, namely students in grades VII, VIII and IX who are the total sampling. In this study, researchers used several instruments, namely: questionnaires, documentation, and observations. The data analysis technique was carried out by calculating the "product moment correlation". The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect in the "medium" category with a product moment r value of 0.502. The school environment (variable X) affects learning concentration (variable Y) by 25.2%.
